Benson and Claire were born with a rare genetic disease in which their liver produces too much oxalate--called primary hyperoxaluria. Claire's condition has progressed much faster than Benson's. She was on dialysis since she was 3 months old and for much of that time, did dialysis 3 hours a day, 6 days a week. She receive a much needed kidney / liver transplant on December 18, 2009. It is expected Benson will eventually need similar transplants.

Mini golf, lazer tag, go carts, and games!

Lagoon!

The kids had sooooooo much fun playing games...notice the picture at the end with their loot of stuffed animals!

We got to visit with lots of our family that we hadn't seen for year(s). It was so great to visit and catch up!

Grandma-great had just had a hip replacement and we got to visit her the day after. She's doing great! She's such a strong woman, in so many ways!

4 more peas in a pod!

Using the light for a microphone. "Good morning everyone, welcome to primary..."

Fun with Uncle Ryan and the Wii

Nothing like story time with Grandma.

What a fun trip! We loved every minute of it, every state we were in! Now we just need a vacation from our vacation!
