Well, she's doing better today...as long as we keep on the Tylenol every 4-6 hrs. The blood cultures they drew yesterday did show that she does have a blood infection. They are not sure exactly which specific bacteria it is yet, but something is growing indicating that she does have an infection. They are also not sure yet how she got it or what the source of it is. They drew 2 more sets of cultures today....and hopefully with the all info they have "cooking" they'll be able to figure out more tomorrow. It takes anywhere from 1-3 days to get detailed info back from the cultures, so we're kind of in the hurry-up and wait scene right now. She's still on a strong IV antibiotics and feels pretty good most of the time.
Mabel is a trooper. Claire gave her a #1 patient sticker today. All we need to write on the end of the sticker is "sister" and we'd be set. She is the "#1 patients sister"!! There were only a few moments that all 3 of us girls had to exercise an extra dose of patience, but other than that, it was a pleasant day filled with more Dora episodes than I can count. Great for Claire...but if I have to hear that theme song 30 more times tomorrow, I just might go crazy! I'm taking some new movies for tomorrow!!
Jared is staying the night again with Claire and I'll take over for the day duty.

You certainly deserve the award for patience. You are a trooper for keeping things going. I know the Lord is right there with you and your family.
