A few more picts from the weekend. Mabel was feeling the need to pose. She saw Benson and Claire standing near each other and wedged herself in between. I figured I better click a pictures for the cheesERS!
Benson compliments Claire ALL the TIME about how good of an "adult" she is. He tells me, "Wow, mom. Claire is really like an adult, right?! She's the best kid adult I've ever seen!" She gets in these modes where she just loves talking like an adult and having adult conversations with ANYONE!
"So mom, when do you want to get together this week for a play date with our kids. Annie is available any time after 2:00, but first she needs a nap, but if she doesn't sleep then we'll have to get together a little later, maybe at the Y, because I'll have to make her bottle, and Annie is just so funny because sometimes she likes to just sing in her bed and I go in there and say 'Annnie, it's time to stop singing and go to bed' and she just keeps singing and singing....."
ya get the idea! She's also been Dr. Claire lately too. Yesterday, she was so excited because she got a new cap for one of her tubes that is the exact same as the one on her pic line! She decided to forgo dinner and dessert because she just couldn't stop playing "medical!"
And I'm sure she'll get a few more new gadgets this week. On Thursday she will have her monthly bile duct stretch. She will also have a liver biopsy while she's "asleep." Liver numbers were still up last time we checked...more blood work on Wednesday. It'll be a long day with an early morning, but if all goes well, we'll at least be home for sleepy time. Let's hope that bile duct stretches from here to the moon and stays that ways forever!!
Ice fishing in the backyard. I am SO glad they have each other.
