Easter

Easter is such a great holiday. I love spring. I love the glimpses of warm weather. I love the renewal of the earth. It makes me want to renew my own home, body and soul. I'm so grateful that I know that Jesus Christ is resurrected. In our egg hunt each year I always love leaving one Easter egg empty. It's a reminder to us all that His tomb is empty too. We will ALL live again because of Him!

The kids had a fun Easter egg hunt with friends last weekend. It only took Mabel a few times to get the hang of hunting for the eggs...but she caught on to the idea of CANDY being inside them real quick!!

Nothing like a little candy for lunch. I couldn't catch a picture of the girls without their mouths chompin' away. I'm pretty sure the boys had already downed their loot of sugar.

Tomorrow is Claire's procedure to stretch her bile duct again. Months go by fast, don't they?! She will also have a kidney biopsy...so it will be another all-dayer. Glad to have Grandma Suz here to help out! We can mark another 10 hr. 40 min. urine collection off the list today for Claire. Her reward for NOT letting a tinkle or two escape into her pants...TEA PARTY of her choice! She also did labs and an echo for her heart today. Her liver numbers were really UP....I don't know what to think anymore! We'll see what anyone has to say about anything later this week. Spring is a good time for Claire to have a little bodily renewal too, don't ya think?!!!
