Wow. I don't know if we could have fit more into our week than we did!! School, birthday parties, and camping just about did me in this week!! But oh what fun we had!
Claire's birthday started out with a pedicure and manicure of pink and purple and a special new birthday outfit.
The morning could have gone by slower for her as she waited for her friends to come over for her birthday party. Her first friend party!! We had a berry fun cake walk, played pin-the-strawberry on strawberry-shortcake, hide-n-seek strawberry shortcake, and I caved into a strawberry shortcake movie for the last 10 minutes of the party! Claire loved every minute of it!
Jared was the master behind the birthday cake. I baked. He designed. She LOVED! We all ENJOYED! (she can't take those eyes off that scooter!)

Jared is amazing. He did a make-over on Benson's old blue and yellow bike...the one that Claire has been riding for the past year. He took it apart, sanded it, repainted it pink and purple, added a basket and streamers, and put it back together again! The kids couldn't even believe it was the same bike! I still don't think Claire really gets that it's the same bike, just a different color! She LOVES it! The first thing she said when she saw it was, "a basket!" She love Love LOVES her new girly bike!! What a dad she has.
Wow. 4 years. 4 years. Really?! What a ride we've had the past 4 years. 4 years have gone by fast, but also at times, very slow. How we've all changed in the past 4 years. Changed for the better. Changed for the BEST because of the past 4 years.
How happy I am to have a 4 year old Claire!
Camping fun post next week. (I'm exhausted!)

So glad to see Claire have her 4th birthday party.
Looks like it was a great celebration of life. We are glad to see her enjoy the day. So glad she had a great party with her family and friends.

Way too cute. Maybe I am feeling sentimental tonight, but I am a bit emotional about Claire turning four. I am so proud of you all for the past four years. What a ride. You have done it so well. I love you all!

Way to go on getting out and enjoying the fall weather. I wish you were closer so we could camp together. That would be so fun!
