Benson and Claire were born with a rare genetic disease in which their liver produces too much oxalate--called primary hyperoxaluria. Claire's condition has progressed much faster than Benson's. She was on dialysis since she was 3 months old and for much of that time, did dialysis 3 hours a day, 6 days a week. She receive a much needed kidney / liver transplant on December 18, 2009. It is expected Benson will eventually need similar transplants.

Really?!?!

Well, it's 6:00 pm and I think we're going to head into the hospital. Tonight (or tomorrow) just might be the night! I've had contractions--about every 10 minutes--all day and I don't think they're going away. I'm not in full blown labor yet, my water hasn't broken, but I think it's all coming. We'll go check it out. YEAH!!

Wish you lots and lots of luck at the hospital. I pray to our Father in Heaven that it will be a healthy baby and that everything turns out just the way it should.

Love you all very much.

And yes I am happy that grandma Susan is there to help.

Have a great night, day, and night.
