I feel much more peaceful today. I read Job last night. That helped.
Benson and Claire were born with a rare genetic disease in which their liver produces too much oxalate--called primary hyperoxaluria. Claire's condition has progressed much faster than Benson's. She was on dialysis since she was 3 months old and for much of that time, did dialysis 3 hours a day, 6 days a week. She receive a much needed kidney / liver transplant on December 18, 2009. It is expected Benson will eventually need similar transplants.

Prayer works. Claire has been so much better today. Still no smiles but what an improvement. She has at least been looking at us and focusing on things. She even grabbed for her baby! That's huge! Not a lot of emotion yet and very few words out of her. But at least she's not so (for lack of a better word...) zombie-ish like she was yesterday! Can't wait to see what another day/week will do for her!!

Ahhhh! Sweet Claire! We are so happy you are feeling a little bit better! You are in everyone's thoughts and prayers here in Denver! I heard mention of your family many times, today in church. You are all so very loved and missed! We send you lots of loves and smiles! We miss you in primary Benson! All our love, The Burnett Family
I am so glad that you are seeing improvements.
Yeah. You and Job can relate. Really.
I told my parents about what is going on last night cuz they have been out of town. Their hearts are going out to you with such understanding and love. I am sure they are praying for her recovery as fervently as anyone. They know that prayer works too!!!
Lets hope today is a GREAT day.
Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. We wish we could do more.
Love,
Brian & Kerstin Taylor and family
